Empty
Nest Transitions Coach
Survive
and Thrive
Ellen
is a contributing author to
Empty Nest Online Magazine
and an active member of our
discussion board. The mother
of a college junior and her
own senior heading off to
college in August, Ellen is
aware of the difficulties
associated with the empty
nest transition as well as
the potentials which this
new phase of life creates
for each of us. Completing
her Ph.D. in family
psychology in
“midlife”, she founded Family
Transitions Coaching, a
positive, strength-based
coaching program for women
and families during times of
transition to help them
develop balance, resilience,
and meaning in their lives.
A graduate of the
Foundational Coaching
program through the
Institute of Life Coach
Training, and certified as a
Transitions Coach, Ellen
works with Empty Nest Moms
to help them to not only
survive this difficult
transition but to
thrive.
In
the coming months, Ellen
will be conducting free
informational support group
meetings for ENMoms members
in our Chat Room, as well as
self-assessment tools to
help you in your journey
through the Empty Nest
transition into a life
filled with meaning and joy.
